I wanted to let you guys know that, sadly, I will not be able to get down to the City for tonight's songwriting group. I want y'all to know how much this group has come to mean to me in only a few short weeks. I am totally committed to this group and have been so charged up from being in this intense, inspiring environment with you. I feel like this has been a shot of adrenaline in my life. I have spent a lot of time working on my songs this past week and will have much to share with you next week.
In the meantime, if any of you can email me your songs/lyrics from this week, I would love to critique them & send feedback
Also, just for the record, my vote is to go lite on the egg timer tonight. I think it's important to have some rough guidelines about time and to keep some sort of loose track of who is the first person each night, as that person tends to get the most time. But personally, I have been getting so much out of other people's critiques & feedbacks. I have no problem if they go longer than their alloted time.
OK. Have a GREAT NIGHT TONIGHT EVERYONE! Do you realize how lucky we are to have this amazing forum/support network for our music?????
